Elbow component with mechanical lock

The AxonArm Hybrid is an elbow which is intended for use in combination with a hybrid prosthesis using the Axon-Bus system. The Michelangelo Hand and AxonRotation wrist joint are controlled by myosignals here. The passive elbow component is equipped with a mechanical lock.

  • A body harness allows the user to release and lock the elbow.
  • The integrated AxonEnergy Integral supplies the prosthetic components with electricity.
  • Two electrodes can be connected with the AxonMaster, which is plugged into the elbow ball.
  • Cables run inside the prosthesis and are not externally visible. This also reduces the risk of defects caused by broken cables.

Ratchetless lock

The internal ratchetless lock can be unlocked or locked in any desired position.
