With the Pheon, the principle of an ergonomically balanced stride (EBS) in the stance phase, which is valuable from a biomechanical perspective and has proven itself in the 3R60 product line, is being applied for the first time in a joint for users with low mobility as well.

Durable, robust and smooth running
Innovative, purely mechanical EBS unit with spring damping element, permitting stance phase flexion settings up to max. 10°.
Equipped with an innovative spring extension assist as well as a self-readjusting friction element to control the extension movement for a smooth extension stop. Both mechanisms are easy to adjust.
5-axis polycentric unit that permits separation into two different modes of operation: swing phase mode and stance phase flexion mode.
While the primary versions of the 3R62 Pheon come with an optional mechanical lock, the 3R62=N and 3R62=1-N versions do not incorporate this locking feature. The integrated mechanical lock can be permanently activated or deactivated by the O&P professional.
The five-axis 3R62 Pheon prosthetic knee joint is particularly well suited for prosthesis wearers with low mobility up to a maximum body weight of 125 kg.
