The Triton carbon feet are very dynamic and offer a high energy return. The Triton smart ankle also draws on the proven Triton technology, but combines this with the benefits of a mechatronic ankle joint. As an excellent everyday foot, the Triton smart ankle possesses moderate dynamics. Its hydraulic ankle joint supports users particularly well when walking on inclines or sloping terrain, and it features a relief function and heel height adjustment as well.

All benefits at a glance:

  • The microprocessor-controlled ankle joint adapts the position of the carbon spring gradually, step-by-step, to longer inclines or slopes so they can be mastered more easily.
  • The relief function relieves the residual limb, establishing a posture that is easy on the joint, and also giving it a natural appearance.
  • The heel height adjustment from 0 to 5 cm makes it possible to wear different types of shoes without changing the basic settings of the prosthetic foot.
  • Thanks to individually adjustable forefoot stiffness, the user can adapt the foot to the desired gait types – from a relaxed stroll to dynamic walking.
  • Straightforward adaptation and adjustment of the foot using Bluetooth® and a special app.
  • Long-lasting battery with up to 72-hour capacity.

Battery and electronics
Battery and electronics

The battery and electronics are protected inside the ankle joint. The integrated microprocessor coordinates all measurement and control processes.

Angle and acceleration sensors
Angle and acceleration sensors

These sensors determine the angle of the ankle and its acceleration in space, thereby supplying important data for the microprocessor.

Hydraulics
Hydraulics

The hydraulics control the ankle movement. Opening the valve enables plantar flexion or dorsiflexion of the ankle.

Bluetooth®
Bluetooth®

Integrated Bluetooth® technology enables straightforward communication with an iOS or Android-based device.

Charging unit and operation
Charging unit and operation

The prosthetic foot can be charged via a USB connection. Two buttons for manual operation as well as an optical LED status display are located directly above this.

The interaction of the three carbon fibre spring elements ensures a very smooth transition between the individual gait phases. The split forefoot section provides the safety and control needed to deal with uneven ground and quick changes in direction.
