Gone are the days when you had to rely on just your eyes to adjust orthopaedic devices. The L.A.S.A.R. Posture enables a biomechanically correct static alignment or check of body posture during the trial fitting of the prosthesis. Classification of the body posture in the sagittal plane is visualised by comparing the distances between the ground reaction force and joint centres or body points.

This enables the static alignment of orthopaedic devices to be verified directly on the patient and adjusted so that it is biomechanically correct. Its low weight and easy handling make the L.A.S.A.R. Posture easy and convenient to transport and use for mobile applications, for example in the hospital or at the patient’s home. The alignment of a lower limb prosthesis can be examined directly on the patient and optimised under real-world conditions.
